Vera’s Sanctuary is the only licensed residential drug treatment site in Orange County dedicated to victims of human trafficking.

Vera’s Sanctuary has 18-beds onsite.  We provide withdrawal management (detox) and residential treatment for women, including those who are pregnant and addicted needing services.  The program provides 42 hours of weekly therapeutic services, including groups, individual counseling and case management.

We provide residential drug treatment ASAM levels 3.1, 3.3 and 3.5 and social model detox services to prior foster youth and pregnant young women lacking family support who has been victims of human trafficking and are 18-26 years old.

Vera’s Sanctuary is a picturesque remote site surrounded by wildlife, nature and beauty.  A wonderful place to heal from trauma and abuse.  We are a state licensed and joint commission accredited treatment center.

The young women residing with us receive everything they need to get their lives back on track from therapy to high school and vocational education to job training, internships, including automobile matching and savings plans.  Each young woman has their own bedroom.  While living with us the young women will also participate in our culinary program which includes sustainable gardens and cooking as well as our health and wellness program which includes yoga and meditation.

Our goal is a transformation experience that leaves the young women in a healing state that sets their life back on track for good.   The goal for our girls upon graduation is a career, permanent housing and savings for a successful future.
