MISSION & PURPOSE
A Place for Safety, Healing, and Lasting Transformation
Vera’s Sanctuary was created to provide a full life transformation for prior foster youth and at-risk young women who have survived human trafficking, homelessness, and substance use disorders.
Through sobriety, psychotherapy, education, and long-term life skills, we help young women rebuild stability, dignity, and independence.
WHO WE SERVE
Young Women with Complex Trauma and Limited Support
Vera’s Sanctuary serves young women who:
- 12–26 years old
- Survivors of human trafficking
- Foster youth or lack family support
- Prenatal / pregnant and lacking care
- Require structured residential treatment and stability
Treatment & Clinical Care
Licensed, Accredited, Comprehensive Treatment
VERA'S SANCTUARY IS
- State licensed and Joint Commission accredited
- The only licensed residential drug treatment site in Orange County dedicated to trafficking survivors
WE PROVIDE:
- 18-bed residential program
- ASAM Levels 3.1, 3.3, and 3.5
- Withdrawal management (social model detox)
- 42 hours of weekly therapeutic services, including:
- Group therapy
- Case management
- Individual counseling
Each young woman has her own private bedroom in a structured, supportive environment.

Located on a picturesque, remote property surrounded by nature and wildlife, Vera’s Sanctuary offers a calm and safe environment where young women can heal from trauma and abuse, away from chaos, triggers, and exploitation.

While living at Vera’s Sanctuary, residents receive everything needed to regain stability and independence, including:
High school completion and vocational education
Job training, internships, and career development
Automobile matching and savings plans
and long-term planning
Enrichment Programs

- Health & Wellness Program including yoga and meditation
